Oh, it’s been a challenging week! Rachel from Redcliffe Style and I have announced the next Style it Project piece, plus I’ve been busy wearing the Style it Project July piece. The July Fox in Flats Style Dare is helping me get dressed every day.
So of course, let’s add another one into the mix, shall we? I’ve decided to join in with Danimezza‘s Aussie Curves Australian outfit photo challenge.
Every week, there’s a theme. I’ve left it to three weeks to the end to finally suck it up and get on with it, but I think I’ve picked a good place to start with Multicultural. I’m calling it Aztec Style.

I’ve teamed an DECJUBA Dylan jacket in a tribal jacquard fabric with DECJUBA leather biker boots, Country Road leather trimmed ponte pants. To keep me warm, I’ve layered it over a Witchery lurex black woollen knit and a Sussan cobalt long line tee.
The hint of blue from my winter staple, the Sussan long sleeve tee, picks up the blue grey colour in the jacket. It adds an extra layer of much needed warmth as the jacket is unlined.
What a gorgeous winter we’re having! Layer up in the morning for the school run, enjoy some sunshine during the day, and the cooling weather in the evening is the perfect excuse to snuggle under my collection of rescued Nanna crochet rugs!
I’ve accessorised with a gorgeous Anizoe leather tote, Honeydew & Violet 40s style semiprecious stone stacking rings, Avalise Jewellery monogrammed spoon pendant, Each to Own glitter drop earrings and the gorgeous pave diamond heart necklace given to me by the Welshman way back when.
The addition of the jacket in a tribal Aztec style pattern lifts an everyday leggings and tunic outfit to the next level. It’s one of my favourite fashion magic tricks!
I’d be confident meeting a client in this outfit, and comfortable for my daily tasks like working at my desk and doing the school run. That’s what everyday style is all about!
I’m linking with the 30+ Style & Beauty Link Up Party, hosted by that fabulous babe, Rachel from Redcliffe Style.
