Please meet Bianca from Bigwords. I’ve invited her to share her blog post series about her recent trip to the Cambodia garment industry, as part of her role with Oxfam.
Definitely food for thought when it comes to making decisions about our fashion.
Kim-Marie asked me to share some blog posts I’ve written about my recent trip to Cambodia.
As well as blogging on Bigwords and wrangling three rowdy girls, I’m also a Media Coordinator at Oxfam Australia. As part of my role, I traveled with blogging expert and the Editor of Drop Dead Gorgeous Daily, Kate McKibbin, to Cambodia to see first hand who makes our clothes. It was an emotional, eye opening and uplifting experience.
I’ve documented our time there in a series of blog posts. I’d love if you could pop over to Bigwords and take a read. Here’s the links in one handy spot in case you’re interested in finding out more about the people behind the fashion labels you wear and the work Oxfam is doing to make positive change in the area of labour rights.
Thanks Kim-Marie for letting me share them with your fashion savvy readers.
