ELES Cosmetics recently sent me a gorgeous selection from their latest Earth Goddess collection. Think warm nudes and spicy browns with the perfect BB cream containing the all important sunscreen and a rich yet sheer bronzer.
Our family tradition on Christmas Day is to wear All The Things, which is why I look like a Christmas tree, sporting my accessory gifts from the Blokefolk.
I am rather a fan of a bold lip but ELES Cosmetics changed my mind with their perfect Micro Bubble Lipstick in Micro Nude from the Sixties Vibe Spring Collection, and this gorgeously subtle Micro Nude shade from the ELES Cosmetics Earth Goddess Collection is also working its nude magic on me.
ELES Cosmetics Earth Goddess Collection | The Products
The gorgeous products I was sent for trial and review purposes to create the ELES Cosmetics Earth Goddess look.
ELES Cosmetics Age Defying BB Cream 30 – $49.50 – I am wearing the Light shade. The coverage is excellent, plus gives a beautiful dewy look to the face. I am more than happy to wear this with just concealer, although it does work beautifully as a primer too on the days when I feel I need more coverage. I apply a light dusting of translucent setting powder. I adore this ELES Cosmetics BB Cream so much that I have repurchased to add to my stash. Run Don’t Walk as there is a current Gift with Purchase offer of an ELES Cosmetics nail polish of your choice with purchase of the BB Cream.
ELES Cosmetics Mineral Sheer Bronzer – Rio De Janeiro – $77 – I have only recently started wearing bronzer on a daily basis, after a fabulous consultation makeover at Sephora when I was in America last year. The ELES Cosmetics bronzer lives up to its name. It is actually sheer so doesn’t require the precision touch of a butterfly to get it right. Want more? Just layer on more. I absolutely adore this bronzer and it has made it to my daily face list.
ELES Cosmetics Micro Bubble Lipstick in Micro Mocha- $39.50 – As a self confessed Bold Lip fan, who is somewhat scarred by the chocolate brown matte lips of the 90s, I have to confess to being a little nervous about this shade. However, it is far more mauve than it appears in the tube and gives the lips a pretty natural colour whilst allowing the eyes to take focus. It wears beautifully and is comfortable upon the lips. Not to be underestimated!
ELES Cosmetics Signature Quad in Naturalist – $99 – Every girl must have a nude browns eye palette in her makeup collection. This is an excellent contender, with four workable shades that can be worn individually or layered together. I think the colours look like a barista’s output, don’t you? The pale creamy vanilla chai, a milky latte, a warm chocolate and an espresso.
ELES Cosmetics Dimensional Cake Liner in Chocolate Spice – $39 – This is a really clever combination to add dimensional sparkle to the eye. A wet liner brush is used to line the eye. I wear this shade as a tightline too, on the inside of my upper lashes to give the impression of thicker lashes. Then the now-dry brush is used to gently press a little sparkle along the upper lash line, or below the lower lashes, for extra definition and a 3D glamour effect. It is not recommended to use the sparkly shade on the inner rims for obvious reasons.
The ELES Cosmetics collections are beautifully packaged with quality full sized mirrors, and they don’t waste space – or your time – with fiddly little brushes that you’re not going to use anyway.
The gorgeous ELES Cosmetics Earth Goddess Collection gets a big beauty review kiss from Kimba Likes.
