It is FREEZING in Sydney today. I am prone to a touch of exaggeration but honestly, it is about 11 degrees outside at the moment. The Blue Mountains are less than an hour away and it is snowing so hard there people are trapped in their cars from road closures. I had planned my week of Leona Edmiston frocks for Kimba Likes Leona Week, expecting spring. That old fashion stalwart, the layering technique, was definitely employed today.
I enjoyed my pop of pink so much yesterday that I’m wearing it again today. BECCA Ultimate Colour Gloss in Flamingo Crush is my new go to lip colour. It tastes fabulous too!
I’ve layered this fabulous Leona Edmiston dress over Country Road black leather trimmed ponte leggings and a Sussan charcoal marle fitted tunic, and popped a chunky Country Road knitted cardigan over the top. For warmth. Did I mention how cold it is in Sydney today? I have to admit that I’m a little bit happy about the cold weather though, because I get to wear my favourite Seed Femme ankle boots for a little longer.
Thanks to Local Store, Rozelle for letting me borrow their mirror for my outfit selfies today. Just quietly, see that pretty pink polka dotted black top in the background? It’s mine now. Mink Pink. Cute, isn’t it.
I had my hair done today too. If you’re in Sydney, I highly recommend Stevie English Salon. Zoe King is my hairdresser from heaven. The gorgeous Christina from the fabulous Hair Romance recommended them to me, and I’m recommending them to you!
It’s my day off on Day 12 of Frocktober and Day 5 of Kimba Likes Leona Week. I had coffee with my BFF and my hair done, rocking my frock all the way to keep on raising money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
You can check out my Everyday Hero Kimba Likes fundraising page, which is tracking my efforts to reach my fundraising goal of $500. Thank you so much to the gorgeous and generous souls who have made a contribution. Love your work!
