It is Day 15 of Frocktober – I make that halfway through! 15 dresses down and 16 to go!
Today’s dress is a tribal print wrap dress by Cue with an obi-style tie belt. I’m wearing a latte Metalicus tank-style slip underneath it. My wrap dresses stay tied at the waist but always give way upstairs. A slip is a good idea to protect my modesty and not scare small children!
I’ve teamed the dress with lovely bright orange Portmans opaques. It was a very hot walk home from school in the blazing sunshine, but it was all worth it to stay warm in my arctic office during the day.
I’m suffering a little from first-week-after-haircut syndrome, when we’re still figuring each other out. I’ll get there by the end of the week!
I’m wearing my favourite nanna shoes – classic black pumps by Ziera. This walking to school lark is playing havoc with my shoerobe choices every morning! To ward off those arctic winds whistling through my office, I’m wearing a 60s styled caramel jacket from H&M. BECCA Ultimate Colour Gloss in Malibu Punch, a gorgeous punchy orange, completes my look.
Is it just me, or are my favourite lip gloss colours a bit violent? Malibu Punch? Flamingo Crush? I feel sorry for all the flamingoes who were crushed to produce my favourite pink lip gloss. Groan – that is a dad joke of the highest order!
Back to work for Frocktober Day 15. I’m halfway through Frocktober. I’m still rocking my frock and raising money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
You can check out my Everyday Hero Kimba Likes fundraising page, which is tracking my efforts to reach my fundraising goal of $500. Thank you so much to the gorgeous and generous souls who have made a contribution. Love your work!
