Frocktober Day 21 dawned very hot, but has mellowed out to a warm but grey day. Thank goodness, as I need to get through a few more sunfrocks and summer casual dresses in this Frocktober lark! I seem to have a glut of sunfrocks and party frocks that haven’t yet had an outing, along with a few winter woollen frocks that I’m hoping won’t see the light of day before next year
My street style paparazzi shot me on our Sunday Funday morning family bike ride through Callan Park and along the waterfront at Le Montage, via various playgrounds and exercise stations. I’ve spent all morning admiring Boyo’s muscles and cool moves on the climbing wall and flying fox. As you do.
Today’s outfit is a stripey summer dress by Zimmerman in pinks, greens, browns and aqua, teamed with a tan leather belt by Sportscraft in an effort to define my waist. My Diana Ferrari sandals are oh so comfortable but sadly on their last legs. As there is absolutely no point in washing your hair before a sticky bike ride, I’m rocking three day old hair with an Alannah Hill clip. My old lady multifocals are looking cool in my classic Rayban Wayfarers.
On Frocktober Day 21, we went for a Sunday Funday family bike ride in the morning and Boyo got invited out for the afternoon. An afternoon by yourselves when you are parents cannot be underestimated! I’m rocking on with my frock on and raising money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
You can check out my Everyday Hero Kimba Likes fundraising page, which is tracking my efforts to reach my fundraising goal of $500. Thank you so much to the gorgeous and generous souls who have made a contribution. I’m more than halfway there. I’m unbelievably grateful. Love your work!
