The frock I’m rocking for Day 4 of Frocktober is a peachy pink and chocolate brown tie dyed cotton jersey maxi dress, with an empire waist. The bodice originally featured crossover twisted fabric with a very low V in the front and back, but it was little bit OTT, so I had it adjusted. I’d love to say I sewed it myself, but we all know that’s not going to happen! I’m the girl who pays the tailor in my building to sew my buttons back on. Oh, the shame.
It is the perfect dress to throw in my bag for a summer holiday. Today’s weather felt just like a summer holiday, with 30 degrees of summer sunshine. It is possibly the hippiest dippiest piece in my wardrobe, so that makes it a little bit special.
Day 4 of Frocktober found Boyo and I enjoying our last Mama-Boyo Day of the school holidays. Our plans today were to “do nothing”, and apart from a spot of grocery shopping, including a little Trashpack purchase, that is pretty much what we’ve done. Aren’t we the lucky ones!
That’s Day 4 of rocking my frock for Frocktober, and raising money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
