The sun is shining on Day 7 of Frocktober but the wind is a little brisk. I’ve gone for a classic look today with denim blues, tan leather and a pop of colour.
Day 7 of Frocktober coincides with the first day of daylight savings, and we are all out of whack in this house. I was hoping for a sleep in to make up for the missing hour, but it didn’t quite happen. We didn’t change Boyo’s clock, just in case he woke up and saw 6am and declared himself awake, when it was really 5am. The Welshman declared we were all going out for breakfast, which has somewhat discombobulated us. It was such an enormous breakfast, we’ve skipped lunch in favour of afternoon tea and now we’ve no idea what time it is!
I’m wearing a Sussan denim dress, which I bought two sizes too big in order to cinch it in with a belt. I’ve added an orange Country Road vest, just peeping out, Leona Edmiston Pins, my gorgeous Flights of Fancy Sunset Moth necklace, my yellow Marc Jacobs bag swished from the Red Cross Rozelle Clothes Exchange, a tan woven Country Road leather belt and tan Sportsgirl loafers. A pop of colour is provided by this lovely Zara scarf – it seriously goes with almost everything. I’m so glad, as I queued for half an hour to buy this on the opening day.
That was Day 7 of rocking my frock and raising money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
You can check out my Everyday Hero Kimba Likes fundraising page, which is tracking my efforts to reach my fundraising goal of $500. Thank you so much to the gorgeous and generous souls who have made a contribution. Love your work!
