How to Wear Printed Track Pants | Wardrobe Wednesday

How to Wear Printed Track PantsIntroducing my latest obsession, printed track pants.  I was obsessed with printed pants in the summer and spring, but the weather is just a little too chilly for them now.  I’m trying on the trend with printed track pants, with three pairs, all under $35.  All this working for home has sent me straight into the arms of comfort dressing.

How to Wear Printed Track Pants

The thing I love about printed track pants is that if you wore a pair of printed pants in the warmer months, then you can totally rock a pair of printed track pants. Almost the same thing, just in a warmer fabric. Because of the fleecy fabric, the pants I’ve selected tend towards to more casual styles.

However, if you’d like to rock an edgy evening look with track pants, there are many more formal options available.  Click to read my guide on How to Wear Leather Track Pants

For these looks, I’ve selected casual chic pieces and comfortable, casual shoes with a twist.  As the pants make a statement, I’ve dialled back the other pieces in the outfits.  Block colours.  Classic shapes.  Tonal colour palettes.  Quality basics with a little twist – leather sleeves, pom pom trim, studded detail.

Let the pants do the talking, whilst you do the walking – in comfort and style!

I’ve kept the outfit in a tonal colour palette, taking its cue from the printed track pants, with a pop of colour.  A fabulous casual chic outfit for a day spent running errands.

Shop My Style | Bonds Printed Sweat Pant in Reflector Floral $34.95 | Blue Bungalow Basic Black Top with Faux Leather Detail $39 | Bohemian Traders Slouchy Angora Cardigan in Grey $139 | Jessica Bratich Lauren Clutch $99.95 | Blue Bungalow Scarf from $29.95 | Sterling & Hyde Neon Pink Loafer $89.95

How to Wear Printed Track Pants | I’ve teamed these pretty floral skinny leg track pants with a simple colour palette of silver, grey and black.  The faux leather trim lifts this flattering black basic top, and ties back with the black colour in the floral print.  A luxe cardigan with a snuggly scarf is the perfect way to add layers of stylish warmth.  Add a  pop of colour with my favourite Sterling & Hyde Neon Pink Silver loafers. The Jessica Bratich Lauren clutch with her glamorous studs and practical multi-pocketed interior adds some tough to your pretty.  Click to see how I’ve styled the Lauren clutch.

Again, I’ve based the colour palette for this outfit on the printed track pants.  All the pieces tie back together with each other and with the print.  The pop of colour in the Sterling & Hyde loafer keeps them guessing!

How to Wear Printed Track Pants | I’ve teamed these flattering skinny leg track pants in a grey tonal animal print with a pop of colour with a fabulous DECJUBA hi lo knit.  Amp up the winter style with a pair of black leather Chelsea boots, and a biker chic warm layer with this bargainista alert faux leather jacket from Fashionista Depot.  A classic leather clutch and you’re good to go.

I’ve bookended the light colour of the printed track pants with black leather – the boots and jacket form a cohesive look.  I do love a colour pop and mustard is fab with a wintry grey and black colour palette.  The neutral clutch keeps the look chic.

What do you think?  Are printed track pants something you’ll be rocking this Autumn Winter? Which pair are your favourite?
