Sephora Beauty Pass and Mecca Beauty Loop
Sephora Beauty Pass
Beauty addicts, the wait is over! Sephora Australia have finally updated their Sephora Beauty Pass rewards program. It’s now more like the famous Beauty Insider program at Sephora USA.
Sephora Beauty Pass now has three levels – White, Black and Gold. Each come with welcome bonus, birthday gifts, and benefits like points earned per dollar spend, exclusive invitations and early sale access.
You can’t use your Sephora Beauty Pass in the States, but you can use it in store and online for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia and online for Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia and New Zealand.
One of the biggest improvements to the Sephora Beauty Pass program is that points can now be exchanged for goodies. Previously, you could earn a 10% discount on one shop. Now, you can exchange 100 points for a deluxe mini of your choice.
Or you can exchange 300 points for a one-off 10% discount. Even better, you can exchange 500 points for a curated beauty set. The one currently available is from Caudalie, one of my favourite beauty brands that I discovered on our USA trip a few years ago.
Every dollar spent equates to a Sephora Beauty Pass point, but keep an eye out for bonus point opportunities. At the moment, you can earn 3x points until 31 October. Run don’t walk – click to shop!
Earn extra points by completing your Beauty Profile or writing a product review online.
I had already reached Sephora Gold status, and visited the Sephora Broadway store to collect my Gold gift and updated card. It was a squee-worthy moment when the Sephora staff told me I was the first Sephora Gold member in their store. Double squeeee!
The gift was a handy purse containing a fabric eye shade, and deluxe mini products, featuring Sephora Instant Moisture Cream, Caudalie Premier Cru eye cream, Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir mascara and BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal.
Mecca Beauty Loop
The original luxe beauty destination in Australia, Mecca, also have a fabulous rewards program. Mecca Beauty Loop has three levels of rewards, based on annual spend.
Mecca Beauty Loop rewards include
- quarterly sample boxes containing deluxe mini products, curated for each level
- exclusive in store events featuring international makeup artists
- complimentary makeup lessons and applications (dependent upon level)
- birthday gifts
You can earn points on spends online or in store at Mecca Cosmetica and Mecca Maxima stores.
I’m Mecca Beauty Loop Level 3, and the most recent box contained some of my favourite luxury beauty brands as well as a Mecca Cosmetica product I was super excited about.
I received deluxe mini products featuring Chantecaille Jasmine Lily Healing Mask, Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturising Cream and Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer. The one that got me really excited? Mecca Cosmetica Sunbrella Invisible Superspray SPF 50+
As a chemical sunscreen, it’s best applied direct to your skin. However, for girls who don’t wish to ruin their makeup everytime they top up their SPF, a good spray over the face every two hours will definitely help keep your skin protected, whilst keeping your makeup pristine!
