Kimba Likes Styling – my stylist uniform

Kimba Likes Styling - wardrobe edits and personal shopping sessions by a 40+ Sydney fashion stylist

I’m so excited to have launched Kimba Likes Styling.  It’s something I’ve been working towards for years, yet was unable to put into action due to my health issues.  Bye bye annoying uterus, hello lady boss!

I offer Wardrobe Edits and Shopping Sessions, and nothing makes me happier than making a gorgeous woman realise just how gorgeous she is – and how fabulous she can look with a few tweaks.

Kimba Likes Styling - sharing my stylist uniform

Whether we know it or not, we all have a uniform for certain occasions.  I have a Mama on the Run uniform, just perfect for my Get Shiz Done Days.

I also have a stylist uniform, and that’s what I’m talking about today.

My Stylist Uniform

Hairbow – to keep my tresses under control and add some signature style

I’m wearing Hound + The Hare hairbow

Jeans – comfy skinny stretch jeans enable me to move, carry and bend over in casual chic style

I’m wearing a pair of Total jeans, a gift from Rockmans and my new favourite jeans

Tank – a long line tank covers my bottom when I’m bending over, keeps me cool.

I’m wearing The Best Black Tank Ever, officially known as Ningaloo Midnight, by Ruby & Lilli

Jacket – a cropped collarless jacket is my go to style because it’s chic and easy to move in

I’m wearing a cropped lightweight jacket by Kelly & Port, with rose gold piping, classic styling and cutesy daisy buttons

Shoes – simple laceups are both stylish and comfortable for a few hours on your feet

I simply adore my Rollies.  Their lightweight sole, leather upper and retrocute styling make my feet very happy indeed.

Bag – a cross body style with an external pocket for my phone

Gorgeous leather, classic style and pop colour? Has to be Kate Spade from Shopbop.  This is the Mya Satchel, a gift from Shopbop in Sweetheart Pink – love that!

This is my gorgeous client, Alex, feeling so fabulous she just had to take a selfie.  She’s wearing an outfit created from the clothes we found together on our shopping session.  Isn’t she gorgeous!

Alex was after a feminine but practical wardrobe for a SAHM to a gorgeous little one year old.  We hit up H&M, Rockmans and BeMe to shop for her new style.

Alex now has a go to selection of clothes to create her own polished practical uniform.  Looking forward to seeing more of her new outfits.

Do you have a uniform? Any styles you gravitate towards?
