Floral Fantasy & Leopard Love | my style
Floral Fantasy or Leopard Love? You just know this print clash princess had to rock both!
My leopard cuff is from Lady Chatterley’s Affair, my leopard ponyskin loafers were a happy result of queuing on the opening day of Zara Sydney, my leopard scarf was a PR gift, and my leopard belt is from Sussan.
I haven’t belted a scarf before, but I am loving it. You will be seeing this look again. Soon, no doubt!

Meet Shabby Sisters
It is just a pleasure to introduce you to Kylie Aleman, the not-at-all shabby sister of Shabby Sisters. Shabby Sisters is a reflection of Kylie’s excellent taste, with her tightly curated collections making me want one of everything every single time!
Do yourself a favour and check Shabby Sisters out! She gives great Instagram too.
Do you have a life motto? Care to share?
Recently it has become Let it go! I am trying to get rid of all the ‘white noise’ and focus on what matters.
I’d love to hear the journey of Shabby Sisters – how did it start? Where would you like it to go?
Shabby Sisters started as an online jewellery boutique specialising in sterling silver and freshwater pearl jewellery. From there we have evolved into an online women’s fashion boutique. Our aim is to provide timeless collections of basic, well-cut pieces in classic colour palettes, which blend effortlessly into your wardrobe. Pieces which go beyond a trend and you will continue to wear season after season.
Moving forward we would love to include shoes and handbags to become a one-shop shop!
Finish this sentence – right now, I’m obsessed by…
finding the perfect pair of jeans! I have seven pairs and I am still looking!
Most amazeballs business experience?
Finally believing in and backing myself! It is incredible the difference a little bit of self-belief and foolish courage will make!
Totes awesomesauce life memory?
This month Mr Shabby and I celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary, followed very quickly by my 40th birthday and I have become very reflective and grateful for it all! I couldn’t pick just one memory, I feel so blessed to be surrounding by two incredible boy wonders and one very loving and patient husband. Sappy I know, I think I might be perimenopausal.
Life-work balance? Possible? Any tips?
I wish there was a magic formula. For Mr Shabby and I it is about working together as a team. I couldn’t do this without him and vice versa. We try and work out our schedule on a Sunday for the week ahead. Sometimes it works great, other times I am in the corner rocking back and forth by 4pm!
What’s your current playlist? What tunes do it for you?
Spotify! I roll the dice everyday and listen to other people’s play lists! I love having it on in the background during the day!
Who is your number one style icon?
I believe in … it all working out. Maybe not as we planned or hoped, but in a way which keeps us moving forward!
My favourite food is … a hot ‘burning my fingers but can’t get it into my mouth quick enough’ cinnamon donut and vanilla milkshake!
When I’m feeling overwhelmed, I … Go for a walk!
I dance like … a mother, embarrassing her children! And I do it fabulously!
