We all have denim in our wardrobe.  It’s one of the new neutrals after all!  Everyone, from babies to grannies, wears denim.  You will find lots of different washes, colours, treatments and styles in my denim wardrobe.

Thanks to Beme, I’ve added another couple of pairs to my jeansrobe.  Beme The Secret Shaper straight leg jean and Beme The Secret Shaper skinny leg jean.

Jeans with a secret? How mysterious! I’ll spill the tea – Beme The Secret Shaper jeans feature a plus size fit in cotton denim with stretch and a unique power mesh control panel to shape, slim and smooth.

They’re priced at $79.99 and are available in sizes 14-26.

I’m showing you how I styled Beme The Secret Shaper jeans in black skinny leg and blue straight leg.

I’ve dressed up the black skinny Beme The Secret Shaper jeans with a simple striped tank, ladylike two tone ballets and a flowing kimono.

I’m wearing size 14 in the regular length, which I’ve cuffed with a double fold.  They’re also available in a tall and short cut.  I’m on the tall side of short so a short length jean fits me like an ankle crop jean.  Definitely going to grab a pair of short length too!

They’re comfortable and easy to wear, although I’d describe them as more of a slim fit.

The black wash is flattering and means that you could wear these jeans to the office with heels and a blazer.

The jeans are high waisted fit and they sit just on my belly button.  The shaping power mesh is super comfy to wear, and I felt confident enough to tuck a top in. I never tuck anything into skinny jeans!

I added a gingham top and stripey sneakers to the straight leg style of Beme The Secret Shaper Jeans, for a retrocute casual look.

The midwash blue colour is flattering and will team beautifully with chambray for a fab double denim look.

The denim is stretchier than the black version; a characteristic of overdyed denim.  I’m wearing the 14 and found the fit to be looser around the waist; but still very comfortable and smoothing.

Straight leg is not a style that features in my jeansrobe but I accepted the challenge! I tried them pegged like I wear boyfriend jeans

However, I preferred the retrocute style of a crisply folded double cuff.

Consider me converted to the straight leg style.  Comfier than a boyfriend jean and more flattering too, with the smoothing feature.  The stretchy fabric means they’re lighter to wear than the heavy denim men’s jeans I wear as boyfriend jeans too!
