Don’t you love a versatile piece? I’m sharing how I wore a jumpsuit from day to night. I picked up this sweet little Forever New jumpsuit in December from their outlet store. Not only is it ridiculously easy to wear and more than a bit cute, it was a total bargain too. Don’t we love that!
I bought it when I dropped Boyo off for his Year 6 school graduation party, and wore it the following day to see his graduating class run through an arch formed by the entire school’s arms. I teamed it with bright Sambag flats, understated Oroton barrel bag and bright cobalt City Chic belt.
What a magical moment both of these occasions were. Nice to have a memory attached to something as simple as a piece of clothing.
Without realising the connection, I wore it for another sweet school moment. Dropping Boyo off at school for his first high school camp. I was introduced to some of his friends too – oh, the honour!
Wearing a jumpsuit from day to night
I teamed my jumpsuit with pops of colour and simple jewellery. Tangerine wedge peeptoes from Target, Rebecca Minkoff Micro Moto Satchel and City Chic navy bow belt. My Uberkate bamboo hoops, Honeydew & Violet organic halo bangle and Hello Mr Badger bracelet completed my look.
The fab thing about school camp (with the added benefit of an only child)? Date night! No need to pay for a babysitter. It’s amazing how much time you have when there aren’t any kids around. Gorgeous little time suckers that they are.
For a quick dinner up the road, I switched my handbag to a bright fuchsia structured Ted Baker handbag, and added Topshop black suede peeptoe bootees. I added my Windfall Jewellery Tiki pendant and a gorgeous bold lip.
My lipstick isn’t the sort of shade I usually wear. I chose it on a whim when I needed to hit a free delivery limit for an online purchase. I know it’s not just me who’d rather buy another item rather than pay postage!
It’s Zoeva Luxe Cream lipstick in One Wish, a dark violet shade. You can buy a limited range at Sephora. They’re vegan and only $19.
