Summer style is all about floaty layers, breathable fabrics and resort wear chic.
Meet Lucciola Clothing, Firefly’s baby sister. Home of pretty floaty summer dresses and kaftans in breathable cotton and viscose, in bright colour pops and vibrant prints. Perfect for beach to bar on holiday and at home.
I was lucky enough to be sent two beautiful pieces from Lucciola Clothing. I took them on holiday to New Zealand with me, but just two warm days in a fortnight meant they didn’t come out of my suitcase!
Rest assured, Sydney turned on the sunshine as soon as we were home!
wearing Lucciola Clothing Gemma
I wore the beautiful Gemma dress in 100% cotton on Australia Day. Blue is my favourite shade, and this colour makes me happy.
On a super hot day, the floaty Gemma dress was the perfect choice. So comfy to wear. The tiered layers and elasticated bust section make for a flattering fit. Touches of glam from the fluted sleeves, and the beaded glass adornments on the ties, made it super special.
I teamed my Gemma dress with Gorman sandals and sparkly headband.
I’m wearing an XXL which meant the dress was a little loose through the arms and shoulders, but would have been too tight on the EnormoBoobs. Gemma is $109.95. click to shop
wearing Lucciola Clothing Sienna
The Sienna dress is made from viscose, a natural breathable fabric with a lovely silky feel to it on the skin.
The embroidery detail, draped sleeves and curved hem take this piece to the next level.
Dress the Sienna up for lunch with the girls with embellished sandals and a bangle stack. Wear it for cocktails with peep toe booties, a midi tube skirt and a cute clutch. Pop it over your swimmers for a day at the beach. Or do what I did, and add sandals and a pair of fitted denim shorts for a day running errands.
I’m wearing a M in the Sienna dress; again in a beautiful shade of blue. It’s like it’s my favourite colour or something! Sienna is $129.95 click to shop
I teamed my Lucciola Clothing Sienna dress with Mimco sunnies, Planet Shoes sandals and Rockmans denim shorts. On a windy day, the side split is a little too high for this old duck to wear with just my knickers underneath. Nobody needs to see that!
Whilst both pieces are a similar shade of blue and are both made from luxe breathable fabrics, they’re very different styles.
I loved feeling ladylike in the fluted and tiered Gemma dress; and equally felt fabulous in the boho draped embroidered Sienna dress.
Would I find any Lucciola Clothing pieces in your wardrobe?
