I’m home from ProBlogger Event and I’m absolutely overwhelmed! My cheeks are sore from smiling. My arms are sore from hugging lots of gorgeous people. My head is spinning from all the information I tried to stuff in my brain.
I feel completely hungover too. Sadly, not from alcohol consumption but from the hideous sinus infection which decided to crash my party. So rude!
What I Wore to PB Event | Thursday travel day
I gave myself a gorgeous Sally Hansen* Miracle Gel mani because I simply ran out of time to get a pro job. It’s so much betterer too! Lasts and lasts and lasts and I don’t have to repeat “please don’t cut my cuticles” ad nauseam. Plus it doesn’t need a light to set it.
To keep me comfy when travelling, I teamed my Bohemian Traders^ skinny jeans with a Katies^ short sleeved top*, faux leather jacket* and pretty scarf*. I added some tough to my pretty with fab Payless Shoes Bowie loafers.
What I Wore to PB Event | Thursday evening L’Oreal Paris Australia event
I had an amazing time at the L’Oreal Paris Australia event. As a self confessed beauty junkie, I know lots and lots about makeup. I’m always discovering new products and new ways to use existing products. I loved the presentation, swooned over the fabulous Elsa Morgan, Makeup Director for L’Oreal Paris Australia and picked up fab tips that I’m going to share with you soon.
I debuted my fabulous Portmans leather skirt in the most gorgeous jade colour with an embellished Sass & Bide^ top. I accessorised with glitter drops from Each to Own, my Alannah Hill leather bow belt, my Usual Suspect Mimco enamel bangle and Tiffany & Co Elsa Peretti Open Heart bangle, Leona Edmiston tights and Country Road flats. I’ve such a yen for pointed shoes at the moment.
What I Wore to PB Event | Friday Conference Day 1
For the first day of PB Event, I accidentally channeled my blog signature image by teaming a pink bunny scarf by Kirbee Lawler with a hot pink lip! It would have been a very effective marketing plan if I’d done it on purpose. I’m wearing the retro cute Beauty School Dropout design.
My Katies^ Sophie tote* carried my essentials and coordinated really well with my Katies^ photo print top* and New Look Idol Pewter flats from Payless Shoes. My Katies biker jeans* added a little tough to my pretty. My Ruby Olive^ mustard studs add a touch of 50s retro cute to my look and my Avalise Jewellery vintage silver spoon necklace* is a gorgeous talking piece.
What I Wore to PB Event | Friday Ahoy! Party
Well, apparently this outfit was extremely popular as it was my most liked photo on Instagram in the history of the world.
I accessorised with a Princess Polly headpiece, Mimco black and gold earrings, black fishnets and pointed toe Comfort Plus black patent heels from Payless Shoes. My Sussan navy lace dress was demure with a hint of sexy and man, I could have sold my Carla Zampatti silk waterfall striped jacket about 100 times!
The party theme was Ahoy! I dress up, I don’t do dress ups. My hat had a vaguely naval insignia badge, navy dress, stripes and fishnets. Close enough, I reckon!
What a totes fun partay!
What I Wore to PB Event | Saturday Conference Day 2
Time to girl it up with a dress for Conference Day 2. I teamed a lovely Aztec print dress by Three Parsons with opaque leggings by Flower Clothing with my favourite shoes in the entire world, my mustard Rollie Derby laceups.
I added some pretty with my Formed Design Co Pink Frosting* necklace and some tough with my Mimco Dinosauria rose gold spiked hairclip and studded clutch from Anizoe*. This is one of my favourite styles. A pretty dress with tights and comfy shoes. So cute … yet so comfy!
I forgot to snap an evening picture, and had planned to wear my fabulous Katies^ navy printed jumpsuit* with my Gucci heels. Unfortunately, we got so carried away with chitter chattering that we ran out of time to get changed, so I chucked another layer of deodorant on, switched my shoes and added my Three Parsons fluffy waterfall vest. Just had to debut my Gucci heels!
What I Wore to PB Event | Sunday travel day
For my homeward bound travel outfit, comfort was key. I was drugged up to the max. Have you ever flown with a sinus infection? Not recommended. At all.
My Katies^ biker jeans* came out to play again, worked back with a Katies striped shirt*, my Usual Suspects Avalise Jewellery spoon necklace* and Honeydew & Violet vintage bunny necklace*, and grounded with my fab Payless Shoes Bowie loafers. I kept my hair under control with a gorgeous McKean Studio London scarf.

Did you go to PB Event this year? Is it sad that comfort seems to be the overriding factor in my outfit choices lately? Are you a costume party fan?
