Beach Life Hacks

All this gorgeous warm weather has got me thinking of the beach!  I’m sharing three easy peasy lemon squeezy life hacks for the beach.  I’d love the beach a whole lot more if there was a lot less sand!

Beach Life Hacks | comfy sand seat

Dig a hole in the sand, cover in a towel or beach blanket, and you have yourself a supportive, cool and comfy sand seat.

If you’re at the beach with kids, this beach life hack is a win win.  You can tire them out and keep an eye on them by getting them to dig holes for sand seats.

Beach Life Hacks | smooth tootsies

Sand is the perfect ingredient for a natural foot scrub.  Kick back and relax, and use some wet sand to exfoliate your feet.  Finish up your foot scrub with some smooth dry sand.

If you want to amp it up a bit, collect some pumice stone that’s washed up on the beach and go to town on those feet.

You’ll be walking pretty!

Beach Life Hacks | baby powder

If you dislike sand as much as I do, you will just love this beach life hack.  When you’re packing your beach bag, chuck in a tube of baby powder along with your water, sunscreen, towel, bucket and spade …

You could pack some cornflour instead if you prefer a non-scented more natural approach.

Simply shake some powder into the palms of your hands and smooth over your sandy skin.  Watch in amazement as the sand just disappears!

Great tips. Love a comfy sand seat and I used to use baby powder on my boys’ bottoms when I’d put them back in a nappy after a beach outing. Sandy bum in a nappy is no fun. xoxReplyCancel
