They say:

A true beauty multi-tasker, The One Perfecting Brush takes the guesswork out of brush work. Cuts makeup application in half by replacing these 10 tools: foundation, powder, contour, bronzer, stipple, blush, fan, and concealer brushes, kabuki, and sponge.

From start to finish, primer to powder, The One Perfecting Brush can be used with liquids, crèmes, powders and anything in between. Non-porous, high-quality goat hair allows product to sit on top of bristles rather than absorbing, ensuring a seamless application with no wasted product.

COVERAGE: The bristles are packed in a 3.5 inch horizontal design allowing you to effortlessly and evenly cover larger or smaller surface areas.

PERFECT APPLICATION: The density of the brush creates a smooth, even and airbrushed application every time.

PRECISION: Flat edges fit the linear contours of your face while curved corners allow for targeted, more precise application.

VERSATILITY: Long, flexible bristles make a variety of application techniques possible – like targeted application, stippling, blending, contouring and highlighting.

LONG-LASTING: The bristles are free of dye, ensuring they will not lose shape or softness over time.

CONTROL: The unique shape of the handle and soft-touch finish provide complete control during application allowing you to create your desired look.

Kimba Likes says:

Oh.  Em.  Gee!  I absolutely adore this brush.  I use it daily to apply my base, contouring and setting products.

I apply my liquid products with this brush – a daily combination of primer, BB Cream and / or foundation.  If I’m using some liquid cheek colour, like the famous BECCA Beach Tint, I use the same brush to apply that too.  I also apply my powder products with The One Perfecting Brush – setting powder and / or mineral powder, highlighter, blush, bronzer.

Yes, the same brush.  And I don’t need to clean it in between liquid and powder products.  I know right?!

The One Perfecting Brush really does replace powder brushes, foundation brushes, contouring brushes, fan brushes, stippling brushes, sponges and blush brushes.  I personally prefer to use the BECCA Foundation / Concealer Brush for concealing, as I just adore the pointed tip for around the eye precision.

There is no need to clean the brush between applications of different products as the goat hair really doesn’t absorb extra product.  This brush is actually saving me money as I’m using considerably less product for an even better result.  My skin looks airbrushed and perfected.  Gotta love that!

I wash my brush about once every week to 10 days, but I do wipe it over with a damp clean cloth each morning after I’ve finished my makeup application.

The handle is well shaped for ease of use, even for people who suffer from swollen hands like myself.  The bristles are packed tightly for precision application and excellent buffing control.  As the bristles are also long, they are flexible enough to work perfectly for stippling, contouring and blending.

The flat top is like a giant kabuki.  Just pinch it for precision application of bronzer in the hollows of the cheek.  Just by changing the angle of the brush, you can achieve a variety of different applications.  I use the flat top against the skin to sweep liquids from the forehead to the jawline, turning as required for coverage around the nose, for example.

By turning the brush to use the side, I can sweep liquid or pressed highlighter along the tops of the cheeks and down the bridge of the nose.  I use the same application method for application of liquid or pressed bronzers for contouring.  It buffs like a dream too.

When I went overseas recently, I packed The One Perfecting Brush, the double ended eyeshadow brush from my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, my BECCA Eye Colour Wash brush, my BECCA Concealer brush and a double ended brow brush (spooly and precision brow – if you ever see these, buy immediately as they are gold!).   Just five brushes.  FIVE!  I know, I’m amazed too.  I just pop my The One Perfecting Brush into a little chiffon drawstring bag to keep her nice.

Would I buy again?

I would not buy this brush again, as I have absolutely no need to!  Originally, I was considering buying two so I could have one for powder and one for liquid, but then I tried using it as the instructions suggested (who knew?!) and found I only needed one brush after all.  As the brush is such good quality, and I look after it properly, I believe it will last me for years.  If I lost it, I would cry and get straight online to buy myself another one!

Are you on board with BECCA’s The One Perfecting Brush?  Have you been considering it?  I cannot rave about it enough!  I’d love to hear what you think.
