Bunny Love

We are very lucky to have Bolt Bunny in our lives.  He’s also known as Princess Fluffybum or Monsieur Lapin, depending on how cute he is being at that particular moment.  He is my second child, and absolutely in love with the Welshman, despite him being utterly allergic to him!

Just chilling in the pot plant

Kicking back in the sun lounger

Bunny in a bliss coma during sofa snuggles

Mama’s little Princess Fluffybum

Bolt gives his best Blue Steel

Allegedly he is a mini lop

Bunny bed time means play time!

Bolt and Sally Brown (who we bunny sit) have a love-hate relationship

Bolt prefers the succulents to the weeds

Don’t worry about mowing, Daddy. I’ll do it!

So naughty! Lucky he’s cute.

Why sleep in your two-storey hutch when there’s a perfectly good pot plant?

Introducing our newest family member, Mr Bunsy!  He is the sweetest little chap, with his little old man moustache.  He’s very snuggly and is really enjoying the grass to hop around on.  We saw a poster on the OOSH noticeboard, fell in love with him and worked on the Welshman for a while until he gave in gracefully.

He’s four years old, just like Bolt, but thinks his litter tray is actually a sofa.  Any tips on toilet training a middle aged man?!

Our newest baby, Mr Bunsy

Oh Bolt doesn’t mind his portrait taken, does he? Check the side glancing poses! LOVE BUNNIES! With the new one, don’t expect too much from toilet training for the first 3 weeks of new surrounds. If it’s already later than this- might be too late, full stop. :/ReplyCancel

We’ve had him for two days and he is four years old. Apparently, never been interested in potty training. But he has done a few wees and poos in it, so looking up. Also, apparently he was eating lucerne, grain and not much veg until the last few weeks. Now he’s on a little grain, lots of veg and the proper hay, so his little digestive system might be sorting itself out too.

Will probably get him chip chopped too, which will help with wee issues. 😉ReplyCancel

Gorgeous bunnies! I would love one and sure the kids would too but I think my cat would be unimpressed! Let’s watch the fur fly? 😉ReplyCancel

Ah, no, cats and bunnies are often not very good friends. Can be done but constant supervision is required. I saw a YouTube video of a bunny taking down a cat though! 🙂ReplyCancel

I just love bunnies so much! We gave up our dwarf-lop a few months before Mia was born as I was having trouble looking after him with my giant pregnant belly and I was also super-sensitive to his smell and my sinus issues were not helped by fluffy bunny hair either, so our lovely neighbour adopted him. Which was good because he would hop in to our backyard for visits. Sadly though our neighbour didn’t keep a close enough eye on him and he got run over on one of his adventures to the front yard. He was a cute bunny though.ReplyCancel

Oh, that’s so sad 🙁 I’m actually a little bit allergic to them too, but I can work through it. xReplyCancel

What gorgeousness. I have to admit, I hid the page when my Miss Four walked by as we would have ended up needing to buy some bunnies for her if she saw yours. Beautiful 🙂ReplyCancel

Oh they are the sweetest pair! And I think you are right, your Bolt is very similar to our Hugo… isn’t it funny how they all end up with about four names? So glad we aren’t the only ones that do that!ReplyCancel
