The competition closes at 9pm on Friday 29 March 2013 and the winner will be announced on Monday 1 April 2013.  I promise I won’t prank you!  Good luck!

UPDATED ON WEDNESDAY 3 APRIL 2013 – Oops, my bad.  It turns out I did accidentally pull an April Fool’s Day prank!  I completely and utterly forgot about the competition on Monday, had a sick child on Tuesday and spent half the evening deliberating and finally badgering the Welshman into helping me choose the winner on Wednesday.

I’m pleased to announce that the gorgeous Katy Potaty is the winner – the Welshman was taken with her choice of accessory – a cocktail!  Katy, enjoy your wedding anniversary holiday in Port Douglas, say hi to George the Groper for me and most of all, enjoy some fabulous free shopping at the truly fabulous Fashionista Depot!

Kimba Likes Keeping it Real Policy

As previously stated, I received a shopping voucher in payment for this post, but as per usual, in line with my Kimba Likes Keeping it Real Policy, my opinions are my own and cannot be bought.  I will definitely be shopping at Fashionista Depot in the future.  I mean, have you seen the prices?!  You can trust Kimba Likes to keep it real.

Oh my goodness! I’d die for the Purple Ginger Love in the Dark one shoulder dress in the divine emerald green – it would be absolutely perfect for our upcoming wedding anniversary holiday to Port Douglas!
I’d style it with a stunning peacock blue, green and deep pink cuff which was a gift from my bridesmaid, my blingy wedding sandals and an deep pink Singapore orchid in my hair. Oh, and I’d accessorise my accessories with a cocktail, of course!ReplyCancel

I love the Barkins Fringe Back Detail Top. It could be worn so many ways! Back the front for a more refined look, casual with jeans and cardi during the day. Cropped tuxedo jacket, cute skirt, opaques and heels for night…. the options are endless!ReplyCancel

The strappy linen dress I’d wear with black wedges, silver hoop errings and bangles, and a gorgeous silver turquoise necklace my daughter brought me…

I love the Purple Ginger Love In The Dark One Shoulder Dress, perfect shape for my figure for a night out on the town. Some gold bangles and gold stilettos is all I’d need to accessorise it as the dress is a standout all on its own.

I’m with the previous poster – I love that floral dress. I wouldn’t even begin to know how to go about wearing it, but I’d have a lot of fun experimenting.

I’m rather taken with that smock dress too – it’s the kind of thing that works with my less-than-feminine figure 🙂ReplyCancel

I love that floral dress. It is a stunner! I am in the process of updating my wardrobe. I just don’t like shopping the way I used to. That’s what happens when you have kids. Thank goodness for online shopping! xxReplyCancel

Thanks so much for the opportunity! You look totally fabulous as always btw 🙂

The China Doll Crinkle Knit cardigans / jackets are lovely! They would be a great way to lift me out of my mummy uniform doldrums. I like the Pinup one the best. It would look great paired with jeans, beige heels and a beige clutch.ReplyCancel

Oh wow, it seems so long since I bought myself any new clothes! That Suki Smock Dress looks so cool and comfortable, especially at this in-between-seasons time of year. I’m picturing my favourite amber beads some very high heels!ReplyCancel

That amazing Purple Ginger Dolly Bird dress and I’d use the Anizoe leather wrist bag to go with it (and I also get that Flapper dress? Too cute! And hides my tum on ‘fat’ days)ReplyCancel

You look gorgeous (again!) and I love that colourful dress. I wish I could wear something like that, but I would feel so awkward in it. I chose the Barkins tailored stretch pants but they are sold out in a size 8. Also the ruffle sleeve scoop neck (also sold out!).ReplyCancel

  • Aroha - 19 March 2013 - 8.21 am

Totally entering this comp, as the 3 outfits in my wardrobe that fit and are on current rotation are getting TIRED and old! I’ve just fallen in love with the Natasha Gan printed floral skirt, which I would style with a matching blue singlet, tan sandals, and a chunky wooden/tan necklace. And now, I’m ditching blog reading for shopping! Thanks for the point in the right direction!ReplyCancel

Holy Moly Kimba – I hope this is open to NZ entrants too!
My favourite is the China Doll Crinkle Knit ‘Harlequin’ Zip Front Jacket and I can imagine 50 ways to style this (jeans, black pencil skirt, beige cropped pants, denim shorts and boots). Thanks for pointing me in the direction of this site too.
