Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride through the years of my hair in the time of Boyo! Good gods – I’m blaming pregnancy brain for most of the looks!

April 2005 | feeding my newborn on the first day home
It’s our first day home from hospital, and I’m rocking the wet hair scraped back into a ponytail look so beloved by timepoor and exhaustipated new mothers.

April 2005 | Boyo’s first birthday party
Boyo’s first birthday and I’ve embraced dark hair dye and far too much hair product!

April 2006 | Boyo’s second birthday party
Boyo’s second birthday and I’ve gone curly girlie.

April 2007 | at Taronga Zoo
Boyo is three and this is obviously the year I got a gHD for Christmas!

April 2008 | blowing bubbles with my Boyo
Boyo is now four and I’m still loving that gHD!

April 2009 | at Taronga Zoo, again
I’m now the mother of a five year old and I’m battling chronic illness (which explains the Nanna walking shoes). For some reason I have gone blonde. I don’t know why either.

April 2010
My baby Boyo is now six and he’s clever as clever. I wish he’d stay six now for ever and ever. Six really is a lovely age! I appear to have gone red – I actually don’t remember this! Still in love with the gHD obvs.

April 2011 | in Sanctuary Cove, Queensland
For Boyo’s seventh birthday, we’re on holiday in Queensland and our holiday house DOES NOT HAVE A HAIRDRYER. Who does that?! So, it’s ponytails all week long. Turns out seven is pretty awesome too. x

April 2012 | in Nusa Dua, Bali
Boyo’s eighth birthday and we’re sweating like swine in Bali. I’ve got a hairdryer but it’s too hot to use it. Hence the mad airdryed curls!

January 2013
And flash forward to now, when I’ve embraced my curls, cropped my locks and am loving my hair sick!
Hope you enjoyed that little trip down memory lane with me – how cute was my little man?
