Kimba Likes Frocktober 2016 | my third week of frockery

Thank you to all the gorgeous people who have made a donation.  I’ve now increased my fundraising goal and I’m so very neary there.  Please help me out!

Let’s check out the frockery of week 3 of Frocktober 2016!

A wander around the markets with the Welshman, wearing retrocute frock from Little Party Dress.

Frocktober 2016 wearing 70s maxi

Frocked up 70s style for a fundraising costume party.  The theme was Writers & Actors.  I wore a 70s maxi I thrifted from Magnolia Vintage in Nabiac, in the NSW Great Lakes district, with a 70s inspired makeup.  Blue eyeshadow and bright orange lipgloss.

Frocktober 2016 wearing Philosophy Australia

A bit of a quiet R&R kinda Sunday.  Boyo and I popped out for ice cream.  Well, gelato and sorbet, to be precise.  I’m wearing a gifted frock from Philosophy Australia.

A very grey rainy day combined with a Get Shiz Day called for a comfy dress.  In love with the Miracle Dress by Passion Q, kindly gifted by White Haven Emporium.

Kimba Likes Frocktober | wearing Three Parsons Frocktober 2016 wearing Three Parsons

This is one of my favourite frocks from the past few years from Three Parsons.  It’s too short to wear with bare legs, so I teamed it with a pair of H&M jeggings.

Kimba Likes Frocktober | wearing modern dress made from 60s vintage barkcloth

Frocktober 2016 wearing Magnolia Vintage

Another find from Magnolia Vintage from our September school holidays visit to Honeycomb Valley Farm.  The cute little local village, Nabiac, is home to Magnolia Vintage.  I picked up my 70s maxi there, as well as this frock. It’s been made up in modern times using 60s barkcloth fabric.  It’s rather fabulous isn’t it!

Frocktober 2016 wearing Philosophy

Oh my stars!  This. Dress!  Think it might just be my favourite dress ever.  That’s a BIG call!

A very kind gift from the lovely people at Philosophy Australia, this is my holy grail of frocks.  It is made from quality fabric that sits beautifully and washes up a treat.  No need to iron! Whew! It has pockets (I know, right?!),  a relaxed waist, flattering neckline, cap sleeves, proper bust darts, and the most divine retrocute floral fabric.

Frocktober 2016 | wearing Motto

For a day running errands, this kindly gifted Motto maxi dress was just the thing.  I am wearing it oversized for a more relaxed silhouette.  Love the fun print and the on trend choker neckline.
