I told you I had a couple more Leona Edmiston frocks tucked away in my wardrobe – here’s one today! This is one of my favourites. A classic retro-inspired day dress, with contrasting details on the waist, back, shoulder epaulettes and sleeve cuffs. Red and black are the colours of Canterbury, my home town and my Super 15 rugby team, the Canterbury Crusaders. I love this colour combo.
Just for a change of scenery, I borrowed Sussan Pitt Street flagship store’s dressing room mirror for a quick selfie. I don’t actually have poxy legs- those are clocked fishnet tights! I’m wearing my Ziera classic black pumps today for ease of walking to and from school.
Today’s jewellery is my usual classic pieces with some onyx drop earrings and a little tiny pop of colour from my Sportsgirl turquoise ring.
A classic day dress with red accents just calls out for a classic red lip. I’m wearing my new favourite MAC Russian Red, with a bold brow, polished skin and a whisper of MAC Pinch o’ Peach blush. I have kept my eye makeup subtle with BECCA Lost Weekend trio palette in pinky-beige-nude colours.
Today’s ploy of keeping warm in my Arctic office was to pop this classic hip length grey Cue blazer on.
Another work day for Frocktober Day 17 and a fabulous Leona Edmiston frock. I’m rocking on with my frock on and raising money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
You can check out my Everyday Hero Kimba Likes fundraising page, which is tracking my efforts to reach my fundraising goal of $500. Thank you so much to the gorgeous and generous souls who have made a contribution. Love your work!
