The ultimate frock! Frock number 31 for my 31 frocks in 31 days! I’m done, I’m dusted, I’ve raised $400 for OCRF, not to mention all the awareness I’ve raised about ovarian cancer, the silent killer.
I’m wearing pants for at least a week starting tomorrow! Frocktober, you’ve been fun, but I bid you farewell, my sweet.
The frock du jour for Frocktober Day 31 is a really cute velvet-flocked dotty frock by Cue in the City, with a gathered waistband. I’ve teamed it with Leona Edmiston suede and patent ballet flats and Sussan merlot tights. My Portmans satin tuxedo jacket is keeping me stylishly warm in my Arctic office.
I’m wearing a Mimco Art Deco-esque bug hairclip as my day’s nod to Halloween.
My gorgeous Faux Fuchsia Leo necklace by Red Phoenix Emporium gets another outing. As the designers said to me recently on Instagram, there is almost nothing this necklace doesn’t go with. I think it might be my new signature piece!
It’s my fifth day of participating in an Instagram challenge – 7 days of Selfies with Bloss Heart Blog. You should go and check it out under the #7daysofselfies hashtag.
Here’s my second attempt at the Breakfast at Tiffany’s Dare set by the fabulous Andrea of Fox in Flats – a one off special Style Dare! I’m still suffering from a poor sore back and couldn’t bear rummaging through my wardrobe in search of a LBD suitable for the office, so I amped up the Audrey with a tiara and classic Rayban Wayfarers cats eye sunglasses. Check out #BreakfastatTiffanysDare on Instagram!
The frock also worked double time as my Good Witch outfit, perfect for Halloween trick or treating with my main little dude, the Zombie Vampire photobombing me!
Have to confess, not sure if hot pink eyeliner is going to take off any time soon! Bad case of pinkeye right there. The purple eyebrows though – now that’s a good look!
Day 31 of Frocktober and it’s all over red rover. My back is still killing me, I’ve discovered another painkiller that I can’t take without vomiting (kinda defeats the purpose) and I sucked it up like the princess I am to stalk the streets for my little trick or treating Zombie Vampire.
I’ve been super duper proud to have Frocktobered and raised both money and awareness for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
You can check out my Everyday Hero Kimba Likes fundraising page, which is tracking my efforts to reach my fundraising goal of $500. Thank you so much to the gorgeous and generous souls who have made a contribution. I hit 80% of my target – still $100 to go – but I’m pretty pleased with that! Every dollar counts, and I’m really pleased I’ve managed to tip four hundred of them into the bucket.
