Hello Hemi handmade gorgeousness
I’m super chuffed to be collaborating with Hello Hemi as one of their brand reps this summer.
Hello Hemi is the baby of Liv, who lives in Geelong with her husband and two darling sons. As a natural born creator and maker, Liv felt something was missing so Hello Hemi was created.
The name of the business is just the sweetest! You know how we all have a list of baby names? Well, Hemi was on Liv’s girl name list, but instead her family was blessed with two lovely baby boys. So, when Liv’s handmade accessory business needed a name, the list was consulted and Hello Hemi was born. Isn’t that just gorgeous!
Now speaking of gorgeous, let’s talk about the handmade goodies. Liv designs and creates earrings and collaborates on a range of leather purses and woven baskets, handmade in Bali. Hello Hemi also offers a beautifully edited range of Australian-made labels.
I wore Hello Hemi Leather Tassel Studs (gold leather with bamboo studs $22) to add a little tough pretty glam to my pretty dress for a casj family dinner with the Blokefolk.
Hello Hemi Cactus Bamboo dangles (bamboo 50mm dangles $18) worked back perfectly with my fun sundress and straw boater for a Sunday outing.
On Wednesdays we wear pink! I’m not a mean girl and you can sit with us, but I do love me some pink! Hello Hemi Pink Sparkle Jellyfish statement studs (25mm, resin, $15) were the perfect quirky accessory!
A beachy day calls for a beachy outfit, don’t you think? I teamed my beachy sundress with Hello Hemi Mustard Resin Bracelet (resin beads on elastic, $10), TopKnotGirl headband (Mustard Floral BowKnot $16) and Hello Hemi Geo Cactus Bamboo Dangles (resin + bamboo, 50mm, $18)
Hello Hemi Market Baskets are a traditional Balinese woven design, made from recycled plastic. Mine has been to the markets for some thrifting and to the greengrocers and organic butchers for dinner ingredients. It held the road trip essentials for our holiday, and held everything we needed for a day at the beach. It even came in handy as an emergency laundry basket!
(Small $22; Large $25)
I seriously wish sometimes I could live in the Northern Hemisphere. London is my favourite city in the world, but it’s not just because it is home to the V&A and the Tower of London and Liberty’s. It’s because they have proper winters at Christmas, which is the perfect excuse to rock a Christmas knitted jersey!
In the meantime, I’ll just rock super fun Hello Hemi Ugly Christmas Sweater earrings! (Limited Edition Christmas collection; silver glitz with pink + teal mirror, 50mm, $20)
Over the next few months, I’ll be sharing more fun pieces as well as other Australian brands stocked by Hello Hemi.
Would I find Hello Hemi in your accessory collection? Treat yourself this Christmas!
