As a self confessed chocolate addict, I don’t want to go through a twelve step program to give it up. No way Jose! I want to find a way to treat myself to all that yummy chocolatey deliciousness. A way to satisfy my sweet tooth whilst also satisfying my desire to not have the figure of a girl who can’t resist treating herself to chocolate every single day!
Thanks to Jarrah Hot Chocolate, I have found the solution. Low in fat and calories, but high in flavour and creaminess, Jarrah drinks are a 99% fat free guilt free chocolate fix every day treat. Yeah baby!
Jarrah Hot Chocolate | Mindful Living & Daily Treats
Jarrah Hot Chocolate is a big hit at Kimba Likes, tying perfectly into my Mindful Living and Kimba Likes Daily Treats projects.
I look at how I can live my life with more thought and care for my Mindful Living project. Kimba Likes Daily Treats is all about taking a little moment every day to do something special for yourself.
With Jarrah Hot Chocolate, I can treat myself to a daily guilt free chocolate fix whilst being aware that it is less fattening (not to mention more filling) than a chocolate bar. Love a bit of synchronicity in my life!
Jarrah Hot Chocolate | Boyo Style
Do you think we are born with a sweet tooth, or is it learned behaviour? My Boyo is also a chocolate fiend. As a growing boy, he is constantly hungry. If he could get away with it, a steady diet of pizza, pasta, chocolate and ice cream, with the occasional bowl of frozen peas and fruit salads, would keep him very happy. I think we all know that’s never going to happen!
Although I’m not Boyo’s idea of a cool mum – you know, the one who says yes to daily chocolate and pizza for breakfast – I’m my idea of a cool mum. A sensible person who is responsible for making sure my child grows up healthy. One who grows upwards not outwards!
We can reach a compromise – daily fruit and vegetables, spinach tortellini with chunky vegetable pasta sauce, pizza every Friday night – homemade one week and delivery the next, plus one Treat Day after school gelato or froyo weekly. Daily chocolate? Well, with the 99% fat free Jarrah Hot Chocolate it is something that I can say yes to. A hot chocolate treat with his choice of Jarrah Hot Chocolate flavours is a great way to make Boyo happy and make his Mama happy too.
Look at that, I’m a cool mum again! Oh, another tick on my cool mum checklist? The box of Jarrah Hot Chocolate that I received. It has unleashed some kitchen creativity. Boyo’s favourite hot chocolate “recipe” is to make his morning cereal with Jarrah Hot Chocolate. Yum!
Jarrah Hot Chocolate | welcome to my world
If you think of hot chocolate, what springs to mind? Roaring fires and wintertime and something that isn’t very good for you, I’ll bet. That’s what I thought too. Now instead of reaching for a chocolate bar or chocolate biscuit or three, I can make myself a cup of Jarrah Hot Chocolate.
That 2pm lull when I’m convinced I want a sugar hit? Ohai there Jarrah Hot Chocolate! Snuggled up on the sofa with the Welshman after dinner (and maybe dessert too) and still feeling like I want something else to eat (but knowing I’m not hungry)? Welcome to my world Jarrah Hot Chocolate! Far more filling than a chocolate bar and way better for the waistline too.
The Jarrah Hot Chocolate range features five delicious flavours, all less than 62 calories per cup, all 99% fat free, all containing no caffeine and all packaged in easy peasy lemon squeezy single serve sticks. Grab them from your local supermarket. I keep a selection of flavours in a pretty Mason jar on my kitchen bench and choosing my favourite is easy. I like all of them!
There’s three different chocolate flavours – Frothy Classic, White Chocolate and Extreme Chocolate. Plus three yummy chocolate with a twist flavours – Mint, Orange and Hazelnut.
If I worked in an office environment, I’d stash a box or three in my desk drawer for those mid afternoon chocolate cravings. I am a terrible lightweight who can’t drink caffeine after about 3pm. I even switch to decaffeinated tea in the afternoons.
The next dinner party we attend, I’m totally taking a box of Jarrah Hot Chocolate with me. Mint, I think, for that yummy after dinner mint experience! Whilst my fellow party guests are enjoying a post prandial cup of coffee, I’ll be treating myself to something just as yummy … and feeling smug when I’m not regretting the caffeine when I’m trying to go to sleep later. I’ll need the box not just a stick pack – because everyone else will want a hot chocolate too, of course!
