Katies A Line Tunic Styled Three Ways

I’m so proud to be working with Katies, and even more excited this week because I’m teaming up with my all around gorgeous girl, Sonia from Sonia Styling.

It’s all about the Katies A Line Tunic, this week’s Must Have Piece. We’re sharing how we styled the Katies A Line Tunic for work, weekend and night out.  Don’t we all love a super duper versatile piece!  Especially when it is only $29.95!

Click here to check out how Sonia styled her Katies A Line Tunic three ways.

Just to show you how versatile the Katies A Line Tunic is, I’m sharing how I’ve styled mine for work, weekend and night out occasions too.

As a Katies Blogger, I was given the choice of four fabulous prints. I surprised myself for selecting a stylish monochrome black and white print – just for a change for the girl who loves colour!

Katies A Line Tunic | styled for work

A classic black blazer is the perfect work style essential.  My Portmans cropped tux style jacket works back beautifully with the Katies A Line Tunic.  See what I did there?

I’ve accessorised with my daily style essential – my Ray-Ban multifocal geek chic glasses – with my Sterling & Hyde structured tote in classic almond tan and black snake print leather wedges by Shoes of Prey.

I’ve added my Kimba pop of colour with midnight opaque tights. A raspberry pink lip, vintage-style stud earrings and a pretty hairpin complete my office professional look.

Katies A Line Tunic | styled for weekend

For the weekend, you can’t beat Katies Ultimate Slim Fit jeans for comfort and style.  They turn the Katies A Line Tunic from a mini dress to a tunic – the posh T shirt alternative.

I’ve teamed a pair of Urge wedge trainers with a Marc by Marc Jacobs fabric bag worn bandolier style.  I’ve added the Kimba touch with a Forever New mustard crocheted hairbow.

Sterling silver artisan earrings and a pretty nude lip complete my weekend style.

Katies A Line Tunic | styled for a night out

With a date night with the Welshman, or a cocktail with the Gorgeous Girls, in mind, I’ve teamed the Katies A Line Tunic with my Katies Faux Leather Leggings (sorry, now out of stock).

To up the glamour factor, I’ve added some Mimco crystal chandelier earrings, a smokey eye, red lip and a sequinned box clutch from Her Fashion Box.

The Kimba factor? A spot of print clashing action with Faith London leopard stilettos.

The tunic is not only gorgeous, but so versatile, too! I love how you styled it 3 completely different ways. My favorite is the night out – those leggings look so chic under the tunic! Yowza! 🙂

Oh thank you petal. I love your styles too. Isn’t it interesting how different our three looks are!

PS – thank you, but I think it is just the power of black. I’m many things but tiny is not one of them! xReplyCancel

  • Raychael aka Mystery Case - 30 July 2014 - 5.18 am

Love, love, love Katies and how you’ve styled this dress. I’m almost tempted but fear it might not suit my pear shaped body. I might have to pop in and put it to the test.ReplyCancel

    • Kim-Marie - 30 July 2014 - 7.58 am

Thanks Raychael! I would suggest taking all four patterns into the change room in a couple of different sizes and experimenting. The placement prints on all the A Line Tunics are quite different and work fashion magic by highlighting and disguising various figure details.ReplyCancel
