In the interests of Keeping It Real, Kimba Likes has a full disclosure policy when it comes to products, brands and companies with which I have a relationship.
If I’ve been gifted product or services to enable me to test them in order to review on Kimba Likes, you will know about it. If I’ve received monetary compensation, it will be clearly marked as a sponsored post. Products gifted to Kimba Likes or provided for editorial consideration will be clearly identified.
If you read about products, services, companies or brands on Kimba Likes and you don’t see the words “gifted”, “product provided for review purposes” or “sponsored”, then you will know I’m talking about things I’ve purchased with my own money.
Of course, you can be assured that if I have received something for review purposes, you will not read about it on Kimba Likes if I didn’t like it. I will not publish a sponsored post if I do not love the product, company, brand or service.
It has to pass the Kimba Likes Test.
- Do I like it?
- Would I buy it again with my own money?
- Do I think my readers will like it?
Yup. That’s right. Kimba Likes is my name and my brand and my integrity. If I don’t luff it, I will not post about it. I will turn down cold hard cash because my opinions and my integrity aren’t for sale.
I may earn commission if you purchase from affiliate links in posts. Thank you if you do choose to do so. It helps to keep Kimba Likes in hair accessories and coffee and to cover running costs.
That’s the Kimba Likes Keeping It Real policy. You can trust Kimba Likes to keep it real. That’s how we roll, baby.
I am more than happy to accept product for editorial consideration. Delighted in fact! I have a particular interest in family, entertainment, beauty, style, fashion and lifestyle products, services and brands.
As discussed in my Keeping it Real Policy, I will always disclose which products were provided for trial and review. I will deal with all product provided honestly and with integrity, but there are no guarantees that your product or service will appear on Kimba Likes. Products provided for editorial consideration, if I think my readers will love them, are likely to be featured in a round up post with other brands.
This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. For questions about this blog, please contact Kim-Marie on firstname.lastname@example.org. This policy is valid from 26 March 2012. This blog may accept forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, or other forms of compensation.
This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog. That content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content. I may be compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics.
Even though I may receive compensation for posts or advertisements, I always give honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own.
Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
I’m channelling Paul Roos for my comment policy. Simply put, it is a “No D**heads Policy”.
I love debate, encourage it in fact. I welcome constructive criticism and feedback. You can tell me nice things too – I won’t mind.
Don’t like something you’ve read on Kimba Likes or disagree with me? Great. By all means, leave a comment to let me know.
I have published my Keeping it Real Policy and you’d better believe that I follow my own rules. However, sometimes I make an editing error – please let me know if you find inconsistencies. Pobody’s nerfect, after all.
However, I won’t put up with bullying, mean girl behaviour nor just plain rudeness. Kimba Likes is my space and I love that it has become a space for a community of like minded fabulous people. It’s fluffy and fun and frivolous – just the way I like it.
Therefore, I reserve the right to delete any comments that are nasty. Especially in relation to comments left by readers. Please play nice or go home. I’m very protective of my gorgeous Kimba Likes community.
