Kimba Likes iPad Apps

Recently the girls from Shop Me Chic shared Sonia’s favourite iPhone apps, and I shared my favourite iPhone apps.

Now Shop Me Chic have shared Melinda’s favourite iPad apps.  Naturally, I had to share my favourites too!

Melinda’s top 5 iPad apps are:

  • Evernote
  • Flipboard
  • Pinterest
  • Houzz
  • Little Things

The top iPhone apps that Kimba Likes are:

  • Camera+
  • Weatherzone Plus
  • Instagram
  • Kindle
  • Cardstar
  • Consume

Some of my favourite iPhone apps are also my favourite iPad apps.  I adore the separate iPad Camera+ app – especially since I recently discovered you can share photos between Camera+ apps on iPhone and iPad using iCloud Lightbox sync.

Instagram is a must on the iPad just as much as on the iPhone, as is my Kindle app.  Love how the Kindle syncs between iDevices.

My favourite iPad apps are:

Blogsy – $5.49

Blogsy makes blogging from your iPad a considerably less painful proposition.  It has really helpful tutorials, loads of drag-and-drop functionality and is really intuitive.  Coupled with a decent wifi connection and enough battery power to fuel a bluetooth keyboard, blogging from your iPad on the run is much easier.

Dashboard for Google Analytics – free

Dashboard for Google Analytics gives you a snapshot of your blog’s stats using your Google Analytics account.  It’s not quite as comprehensive as Google Analytics website but I find it gives me the information I need quickly and in a well presented and easy to read format.

Nuffnang X – free

NuffnangX is a fab new way to follow, comment and share posts from your favourite blogs.  Commenting on blogs from iDevices can be painful, to say the least.  Now that the NuffnangX app has had a few initial bugs ironed out, it is a much easier way to interact with your favourite blogs.

Temple Run – free

An awesome game featuring booby traps, mazes, a running hero and hideously screeching demon monkeys (at least I think that’s what they are).  There is no way I will ever even get close to Boyo’s lowest high scores, but I still have loads of fun wasting time on this fun game.  Warning – it is addictive!

Diptic – 99c

Diptic is a photo collage app with many options to create multi-photo images for sharing on social media.  It also has a fun “random” action, where it creates a photo collage using your Camera Roll.  Some of these can be amazing!  Some fully epitomise the term “random”.   I upgraded to the Expandable Layouts for another 99c so I can make larger mosaic type photo collages.  I use quite a few of these images for blog posts.

Those are my favourite iPad apps.  I’d love to know what yours are!  There’s always room in my life for another must have app.

The NuffnangX app has changed my bus commutes forever! The Google Analytics app? So much easier to navigate and when you need more info, just log on to the actual website! Awesome 🙂ReplyCancel

Thanks for sharing your favourite iPad apps Kimba!

I used to use Blogsy quite often… but I think it has slipped off my radar lately. I tend to mostly use my laptop.

I love how all of your apps (minus Temple Run) scream “I’m a blogger!”
