Lace Shirt by Sadie | One Piece Two Ways

Scrolling through my Instagram feed on the weekend, I couldn’t help but fall in love with this gorgeous Lace Shirt by Sadie from one of my favourite shops, Meshh Byron Bay.

Sizes 8-14 still available online)

As I currently have more clothes than days in which to wear them, and my, ahem, shopping ban, it won’t be coming home with me any time soon.

I cheered myself up by playing with Polyvore and styling the Lace Shirt by Sadie two ways.

Girl up a pair of casual boyfriend jeans with the lovely Lace Shirt by Sadie, pretty pastels and pops of colour.  Wear it buttoned up with one shirt tail tucked into the front waistband with the rest loose.  Or wear it open over a fitted cami.

Play up the ladylike aspect of the Lace Shirt by Sadie by adding some preppy leopard loafers, a waist defining belt over a classic full skirt and chunky resin jewellery.

Who put you on the shopping ban? Self imposed? Actually I saw pics of you looking lovely on IG last week, with new shoes and wondered where you kept all your GORGEOUS threads? A big wardrobe? I’d love a post on that, if you haven’t already done that. Also, can I come by and try some on so I can feel pretty? xxReplyCancel

It was my decision and one the Welshman supports wholeheartedly. It’s one I’m struggling with though!

My wardrobe is tiny. Miniscule. It’s not even a walk in. I call it a step in. I never shut the door because I keep things behind the door, and hung on the door. I have baskets of high rotation clothes under my bed as well as pretty hatboxes of shoes, hair accessories and belts et al under my dresser.

I have pull out baskets on my wardrobe shelves because I can stuff more stuff in them.

I keep the opposite season stuff in our suitcases and run into issues every season changeover when the weather goes doolally again.ReplyCancel

Sometimes their online sale stock is different than in store but you can’t go wrong for that price! I bought a cute Witchery White Shirt Day piece today. Reverse peplum and studded collar. Saw your yellow pompom top too but only in XXS 🙁ReplyCancel

I’ve got a turquoise lace shirt similar to the one you’ve featured but have worn it only with my dark black jeans. At least I can try it with a flared/skater skirt next time.ReplyCancel
