Product Talk By Nuffnang : Golden Circle Healthy Life Probiotic Juice

This blog post about Golden Circle Healthy Life Probiotic Juice is sponsored by Product Talk by Nuffnang.  I received an item in exchange for this review but, as I’m all about keeping it real, this will not affect my opinion on this product.

I have been sick all winter.  I mean ALL winter!  I’ve had sinus infections, colds, flu, chest infections, sinus infections, ear infections, bronchitis, asthma, sore throat, bruised muscles from coughing too much and did I mention sinus infections?

I’ve gone to my doctor so often that they’ve started bulk billing me.  I’ve gone through two jars of Vicks, and countless boxes of tissues.  I’ve taken so many doses of antibiotics that make me feel almost worse than the infection they’re trying to fix.

The good thing about antibiotics is that they kill all the bad bugs in your system.  The bad thing about antibiotics is that they kill all the good bugs in your system too.

Good bacteria

This is not good.  When you’re constantly sick, your immune system takes a battering and you are therefore more susceptible to catching more viruses, bugs and illness.

The solution to boosting your natural immune defences is to take probiotics, otherwise known as friendly bacteria.  I’ve been trying, I honestly have.  But it is a little bit difficult.  You have to take probiotics two to three hours after antibiotics so the good bugs aren’t immediately wiped out.  However, as traditional probiotic tablets have to be refrigerated, this time lag is difficult to manage for a busy day juggling the school run, work and fadmin.  Probiotics are available in yoghurt too, but if you’re dairy-sensitive like me, it’s not the best option.

Imagine my delight when I discovered Golden Circle Healthy Life Probiotic Juice via Product Talk by Nuffnang.  A daily dose of 200ml of juice contains 1 billion beneficial bacteria probiotics to boost your immune system defences naturally.  The Probi Defendum probiotic combination is clinically shown to work, and only Golden Circle Healthy Life Probiotic Juice has it.  Chuck in twice the daily recommended dose of Vitamin C and you’re laughing all the way to a healthy immune system.

I’ve finally finished taking antibiotics but I’ve already worked out my routine for the next time I need to take them.  I’ll take my antibiotics with my breakfast, do the school run and pop into the shop on my way to the office for my yummy Golden Circle Probiotic Juice.  About half the price of my freshly squeezed juice that I was treating myself to every morning, just quietly.  And a boosted immune system to boot!

There are two flavours, Breakfast Juice and Apple & Mango Juice.  Both are delicious with their blend of juices, and contain no dairy or added sugars.  Bonus!

I have to say that my favourite is the Apple & Mango Juice.  However, if you like the sound of orange, cloudy apple, pineapple and passionfruit juices with a hint of banana puree, then Breakfast Juice might be your favourite.

I could waffle on and on about the benefits of probiotics but Golden Circle have done it for me.  Bless their little cotton socks.  Click here to read all about it.

Now that Spring is here, and I’ve finally kicked the sinus (knock on wood!), I’m restarting my Lifestyle Rehab, and Golden Circle Healthy Life Probiotic Juice is the newest part of my regime.

Do you take daily probiotics?  Would you prefer to take them in yummy juice?

I love my pro-biotic, makes the world of difference. I love the idea of this one, but, being sugar free it doesn’t fit with my diet… Glad it is making a difference for you, and glad to hear you are feeling better! {I am knocking on wood for you too!}ReplyCancel

I barely drink and I’m as salt free as possible. I don’t even do caffeine. There is no way I can give up sugar! x Thanks for the knock. It is helping 🙂ReplyCancel

The big question is: is it pulp free? I can’t stand pulp! If so, then I need to get some ASAP.ReplyCancel

This sounds like magic juice! I’m wondering if it is something I should be having – I’m not on antibiotics, but I think my immune system is low and I’m feeling quite flat. Should I give it a go, Kim-Marie?ReplyCancel

Probiotics are recommended to replace the good bacteria that antibiotics kill but they’re also fab for boosting your immune system. I don’t think you can go wrong with giving it a go. If nothing else, it’s delicious! x Because of the Vitamin C content too, there are now two less supplements I take daily.

Also, did you get your Vitamin D levels checked recently? A huge amount of people have deficiencies for this vitamin. It can contribute to general muscle weakness and is linked with calcium deficiency too. ReplyCancel

It really is delicious! Luckily, Boyo wasn’t keen on it, otherwise I’d never get any. xReplyCancel
