Target Bellecurve | Giveaway

Target Bellecurve

Introducing Bellecurve, Target’s exciting new plus size range for sizes 16-26.  Plus I have a $50 Target gift card to give away – can’t tell you how much I love doing that!

I recently attended a fabulous Target Bellecurve event where I was introduced to the range. I also seized an excellent opportunity to meet the 360 Immerse PR and Target Australia PR teams – just as lovely as anticipated.  I was also delighted to meet the lovely Bellecurve Ambassador, Fiona Falkiner, plus size model and gorgeous girl.  She gives great Instagram too.

Target Bellecurve

From a non-plus size fashion blogger’s perspective,  I was impressed with the quality of the fabrics and the attention to detail.  I understand that whilst black is a popular colour due to its slimming properties, many “fatshion” aficionados also like to wear colour.  The Target Bellecurve range has both ends of the spectrum covered.  The pocket friendly prices range from $49 to $79.

There are quality black basics such as the Glamorous Maxi Skirt featuring a sexy split, an embellished Dazzle Me Pencil Skirt in flattering ponte and edgy zippered Zoe Skinny Crop Pants.  Perfect for layering with the elegant Float Away Tunic and the embellished Glamorous Life Sleeveless Shirt.

These pieces are probably more suited to the plus sized ladies, although I have purchased the Dazzle Me Pencil Skirt.

Target BellecurveThe Target Bellecurve range also boasts black pieces that are anything but basic, such as the Glamorous Sequin Dress, featuring a chiffon blouson top and stretchy sequin skirt.  Reach for the Stars Studded Top has a rock chic edge and the sparkletastic Shine Bright Sequin Shrug was a blogger favourite.  For a splash of molten metallics, I love the Isabella Lurex Top.

The immensely versatile and flattering kimono-style Lolita Dress, with studded detail, as worn by Fiona, has sold out online.  You might get lucky and track one down in store.  It’s worth the effort!

My non-plus size recommendations are the fabulous Glamorous Sequin Dress, Shine Bright Sequin Shrug and the Isabella Lurex Top.  These are pieces that will work well as oversized pieces.  I will be wearing the Glamorous Sequin Dress, belted to create a peplum style, to the Welshman’s Christmas party.

Colour is introduced in the Target Bellecurve range with the fabulous Kaleidoscope print, available in the Kaleidoscope Blouse and Kaleidoscope Maxi Dress.  The flattering Float Away Tunic is also available in Cobalt.

I had intended to purchase the Kaleidoscope Bodycon Dress, an extremely popular piece with the fashion bloggers on the day.  Another sold out piece!

Target Bellecurve

I’ve styled three head to toe Target outfits featuring the three Bellecurve pieces I purchased. I like the look of oversized tops with fitted pieces, like the shrug with a full skirt, and the lurex top over skinny jeans.  These are my picks of the Target Bellecurve range for girls with similar figure types to myself.

Dazzle Me Pencil Skirt | Cobalt Peplum Top, Pleated Satin Clutch, Messina Wedge Sandals

Shine Bright Sequin Shrug | Brocade Knit Skater Skirt, Sami High Heel Clog Sandals, Basic Stretch Knit Tank in Sand

Isabella Lurex Top | Multi-Facet Bib Necklace, Military Romance shopping tote, Vintage Boyfriend Jeans, Jacinta Ballet Flats

  • Brodie Moore - 12 November 2013 - 3.54 pm

Hi there! Thank you so much for doing this wonderful giveaway (: It’s so difficult to choose a favorite Bellecurve piece because I find them all so wonderful! The Belle Curve Lolita Dress is beautiful and I like the slight batwing sleeves with the gold studded details. It’s something I would love to wear out and I’d say It’s a favorite of mine! I’m not a massive fan of skirts so there at the bottom of my list but I love the Belle Curve Float Away Tunic (In Blue) and the Belle Curve Isabella Lurex Top. Such wonderful clothing and fabric and styles and a wonderful giveaway too (:ReplyCancel
