Inspired by Emily from The Beetle Shack’s beautiful The 52 Project photographic portraits of her children, capturing ordinary moments in their lives with love and beauty, I’ve decided to join Practising Simplicity for a weekly portrait of my favourite little dude, Boyo.
I can’t pretend that the photographic skills will be up to much, but the gorgeousness of that big Boyo beam will make all the difference. That’s what it is all about really. Capturing a moment. Those moments are what life is all about.
I’ll be sharing a weekly photograph of him once a month. Here is my beautiful Boyo in March 2014.

Boyo styling it up with a cool dude ‘do. He loves visiting Stevie English for the stylin’, the awesome hot chocolates and man, does Boyo enjoy the massage chair whilst getting his hair shampooed! I now spend more time doing his hair than my hair every morning.

Photobombing. Selfies. YOLO. LOL. Boyo Style. I have created a socialite media monster with his own hashtag! #boyostyle

Love our just before bedtime snuggles!
For this month’s funny Boyo tale, I would like to present you with this charming image. On a recent Friday night, whilst the Welshman was at the pub farewelling his former work team, Boyo and I had a sofa movie pizza date night. After I got him into bed and sat down to relax, I realised if I was the Queen of all I surveyed, then my country needed a mah-jor overhaul.
