What I Wore : Brown Sugar Printed Pants and Lace Shell Top

Brown Sugar Sateen Parker Print Pants and Lace Shell Top

I’m very honoured to be a Brown Sugar Brand Ambassador – an iconic Australian company that is suited perfectly to my lifestyle.  I just love these Brown Sugar pieces together – the pretty Lace Shell Top and the on trend and flattering Sateen Parker Print Pants.

These pants are uber flattering – they feature a medium rise waist and a slimming cut.  The on trend print lends itself perfectly to this season’s fashions and the neutral colour palette makes mixing and matching a piece of cake.  They’re described as 3/4 pants, but I would describe them as 7/8.  On me, they sit just above my ankles, which adds to their ability to flatter my shape.   They’re really well priced at $89.95.

They look fabulous with flat shoes from sandals to ballet pumps to loafers, or even a man-style brogue, yet work equally well with a heeled sandal or platform pump.  I’ve tried them on with all these options from my shoerobe!

The Sateen Parker Print pants are an essential wardrobe building piece, as they can be dressed down with a tee and flats, or dressed up with a piece like the gorgeous Lace Shell Top and statement heels.

This is a standout piece in the current Brown Sugar collection for me.  Simple, classic elegance.  It works beautifully with the Sateen Parker Printed Pants in a tonal pattern clash, but would also look fab in a more casual outfit.  Pop a red tank underneath it and wear it with orange skinny jeans, anchored with tan leather flats and bag, and you’ve dressed up a really simple outfit.  If you’re a little bit scared of colour, stick to a plain black outfit and go for classic chic.

I bought the Lace Shell Top in the next size up, as I liked the contrast of a more flowing lace top over a fitted coloured tank.  It’s going to be my go to party piece for the summer season.  It will glam up everything from my Seed Femme condom dress for a casual lunch, or denim shorts for a barbecue with friends, and is guaranteed to feature on date nights.

It is currently on sale for $49.95, down from $79.95, and also comes in white.

Here, I’m wearing the Brown Sugar Sateen Parker Printed Pants with a Trenery tee.  Keeping to a classic colour palette and adding a pop of colour with a bright pink lipstick.

Have you embraced the printed pants and lace trends this season?

In the interests of keeping it real, I am a Brown Sugar Brand Ambassador, which means I receive discounted and gifted items, as well as payment.  However, Kimba Likes Brown Sugar, or I would not have agreed to work with this brand. You can trust Kimba Likes to keep it real!

I love printed pants but I’m too conventional in fashion to wear them… When I see them on someone, I think they look good but I’m too shy to wear them myself…ReplyCancel
