The weather in Sydney is finally deciding that it might just be autumn. Cool enough for me to wear jeans without dying of heat exhaustion. Cool enough that layering is essential. A few days later, it hits 29 degrees again. Go home, Sydney weather. You’re drunk!
What I Wore | NYDJ and Layered Tops
For a school holidays trip to the movies with Boyo, I layered a Queenspark Elizabeth Hurley Knit* over an ASOS peplum top from Curvy Cartel. It is always slightly too cold in the movies, don’t you find?
I’m going to get a movie Frequent Flyer card for when menopause strikes – now that’s Kiwi ingenuity!
I absolutely adore my NYDJ – Not Your Daughter’s Jeans. My favourite style is the Janice Leggings. They’re a light grade of stretchy denim, mid rise waist with a skinny but not tube leg. Their genius is in their patented design to smooth tummies and lift bottoms. Muffin top? Eliminated!
They’re also fabulous for cooler months as they’re so easy to wear with knee high boots. Click for a fab guide from Styling You on How to Wear Knee High Boots. Click to read Sonia Styling’s guide on How to Wear Ankle Boots. The light fabric means they tuck into ankle boots beautifully.
Kinda loving my new ‘do sick. It’s taken some getting used to, but as I can still rock a scarf tied as a hair bow and cute hair accessories, then I’m pretty happy. Plus, it is the ultimate lazy girl hairstyle. A quick zjush with some Original Mineral hair product and I’m out the door.
Are you on board with NYDJ?
I’m linking with the 30+ Style & Beauty Link Up Party, hosted by my fabulous friend Rachel from Redcliffe Style.
I received some Elizabeth Hurley knitwear from Queenspark
