Xmas Wish List : What I would like for Xmas

Hey!  Did you know it is just over a month until Xmas?  Did you know that working in the CBD can be a curse?  I keep spotting gorgeous things right, left and centre in the shops.  The Welshman has asked me to email him any suggestions for my Xmas wishlist.  Here it is, honey!

Hopefully, you might find something pretty on my list to cross something for someone special off your list!

In our family, we send Xmas and birthday presents to January overseas in September to avoid paying double for airmail, so I’ve done all my Xmas shopping pretty much by the middle of the year.  Yes, it is organised.  Sickeningly so.

But it means that there are so many lovely things that just flood the shops at this time of year that would make perfect gifts – for me this time!  Sometimes I’m lucky and snap up leftover bargains in January for my UK present list.  When you have to pay postage on top of the parcel, a bargain is a very good idea.

This year, we’re going pretty low key on the Xmas present front.  We’ve got a big US holiday planned for next year, where I plan to fill an entire suitcase with Sephora, NYDJs and other such American bargains.

Sussan Sorbet ring holder $11.95 – so very cute, so very practical, so very retro, so very Kimba.  I like it!

Sussan travel wallet $29.95 – it has compartments for all your travel needs and is cute to boot.  Yes please!

Forever New Tropical Floppy Hat $29.95 – Perfect for summer and gorgeously retro cute styling.

Zig Zag Clutch from Meshh $59.95 – I fell in love with the fabulous colour and style when in Byron Bay recently.

Sadie Floral Pants from Meshh $59.95 – Cute and comfy and a delightful retro print

Crescent Necklace from Meshh $19.95 – Lovely necklace for funking up a summer tee

Borne Naked Mini Liner $19.95 – Fabulous organisation for handbags and you will never lose anything again. Love these so much I need another one!  The new mini has stylish silver trim and comes with a free brush set.

True Blood Season 4 and 5 $36.98 from JB Hi Fi – What’s not to love about True Blood?  Yes please!

Stila Limited Edition Holiday Brush Set from Mecca Cosmetica $50 – all the essentials a girl needs to make up her face at a fabulous price

Stila Limited Edition Seeing Stars Smudge Stick Set from Mecca Cosmetica $60 – gorgeous will-not-budge colours

Clarisonic Mia Skin Cleansing System from Adore Beauty $134.95 – Oh, I really really want one of these fabulous electrical skincare brushes.  And it’s on sale!  Fingers crossed, Santa.

Everything Changes But You by Maggie Alderson eBook $16.99 – I just adore Maggie Alderson and her stylish writing.  This is her latest book and I can’t wait to read it.  I’d really love it to read on my iPad in the summer holidays.

Noel bunting from Shabby Sisters $18 – the perfect festive touch for our house

Little Bow Peep necklace from Red Phoenix Emporium $55 – every girl needs an elegant pearl necklace, and this one is just lovely.

Lovely Swallow earrings by Mecino $15 – Oh so very pretty dangly hand-patinaed little swallow earrings.  She’s at the Queen Vic Night Markets in Melbourne every Wednesday night, if you’re nearby.

Blue beaded necklace by Leaf & Feather $38 – My friend Lauren is the gorgeous talent behind Leaf & Feather and I have a few of her special pieces.  They’re just gorgeous and this one is lovely.

I hope some of my wish list ideas gave you some Xmas present inspiration.  I’d love to know what’s on your wish list.  Do tell!

To be honest, I haven’t even thought about it. Our family tends to just give gifts to the kids and hubby and I get chastised when we get, even small thing, for everyone else. Not very Christmas-spirited, huh?! 😉 Your list is pretty affordable too so hubby should be very grateful! 🙂ReplyCancel

Love the ring holder and the travel wallet! Didn’t realise that Sussan had such cute accessories and knick knacks. I did a big shop in Bali so my Xmas list is slim this year. I’m happy with some books to sit back and relax with after a big Christmas lunch 🙂ReplyCancel

Some great ideas and pretty things amongst your list! I used to have a blog where I displayed online shopping finds for children…sometimes I wonder whether I should resurrect it but for all things (not just children’s). Love looking at lists that people have compiled of great shopping finds!ReplyCancel
